A fellow mom blogger Shellie @Military_Mom on twitter and her blog Blog4Mom.com endured what no mother should ever experience - her 2 year old son went to be with Jesus on Monday the 14th. Those that knew her personally are grieving with her. I didn't get the chance to get to know her but tweeted back and forth a few times in the past.
This is an expression of my pain for her and a reflection on my passionate love for my own children.
Priceless is the heart of a child. So tender and sweet.
Embrace the sticky kisses and screeching giggles. Hug them, hold them tight.
Fleeting are the days of cuddles and snuggles.
In the midst of madness - tantrums, anger, defiance - remember their heart.
Wrap your arms around them. Listen to their sweet "I love you mommy." and breathe it in, holding it forever in your heart.
