One Size Cloth Diapers ROCK!!

Chari is a wonderful blogging friend of mine - I did an entire post raving about her blog. Little did I know that she was cooking up a huge cloth diaper give away event!




I am a huge fan of one size cloth diapers. They fit David super well right now - he is 8.5 months old and 23 pounds. Yes he is chunky and I need diapers that fit well :)

I am definitely going to be checking out this event every single day because I could definitely use some new diapers! Plus, she is going to be highlighting some companies I have never heard of before and I am always looking to expand my stash!

Spotlight Saturday!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your families! I had a very busy week with my husband's family and have another big day ahead of me tomorrow. This spotlight will be a tad smaller than normal, but please go visit this mama - she rocks so much!

This week I am spotlighting Deb from Menopausal New Mom. She is hilarious! This girl says it like she sees it. Period. Her blunt sense of humor cracks me up every time. She is also very honest about her personal life and I find this to be so refreshing. You see, life isn't always pretty and she puts it all out there. It makes me feel so much less alone when I feel crazy or out of control. Cause no one is perfect.

I'd also like to add that Deb is a wonderful writer. Every blogger has a specific talent - whether it is photography, compiling a ton of different info, reviewing, whatever. Hers is humor and writing. I go to her blog expecting big things - a smile, a tear, a chuckle or a brow furrowed in thought - and I am never disappointed.

Spotlight Saturday - Take Time to Smell the Rose

Time for another edition of Spotlight Saturday!

This time I am showcasing my good friend Chari from Take Time to Smell the Rose!

She was one of my very first blog friends ever back in July. She is such a super sweet gal, I can always count on her to give a heartfelt comment on some of my posts. We got to know each other from our mutual love of cloth diapers and just became fans of each other's blogs.

She gives back to other bloggers every Sunday with her event "Take Time to Share Your Giveaway Sundays" were you can link up your giveaway and get that much more exposure!

Me? Well, I originally planned for my talent to be reading a children's book to my daughter. I can be so entertaining! I really get into it, with voices, pitch and tone. But it was bedtime and Bubs was crabby, so I altered the talent a bit.

It was Italy before children but now that I have them I want to go to Disney World!

Jennifer MckMama. She has been through so much and kept her faith and grace!

8) If you could be on the cover of any magazine which would would you choose and why?

Country Weekly Magazine - cause that would mean that I can actually sing (which I can't) and that I might be able to pose with Brad Paisley or Josh Turner!

I'm a country girl without a singing voice, but a huge country music fan!

Of course I do! I want to wear it to my daughter's tea parties and let her try it on (before she cries for me to take if off since it is too big!)

Reaching lots of people with honesty. Having a wide audience that is moved by you, relates to you and is encouraged by your writing. That is a successful blogger!
