Catching up from the weekend

I love this picture. Just love it! It captures the joy that David brings to my life. We tickle, play, laugh and he gets more than his fair share of kisses! Dare I say that life was dull before him? He's my little boy, my chubba-bubs.
Did you know he has a cleft chin? Josh pointed it out last night. I had no idea till he told me! It isn't noticeable but I found it this morning when I looked really close. It is more of a fat dimple than a cleft. Crazy.

What a weekend I had! Friday night I set up a table with my Discovery Toys at a vendor event. I got quite a few contacts and I really need to call them about booking parties. I can't wait to get my business growing! While I was sitting at my table hoping for people to stop by, Josh was at Chuck E. Cheese with the 2 children. He was there for 3.5 hours and said he could have stayed longer! WOW! Lizzie had more fun in the free area (of course) and Josh had bought 40 tokens...go figure.

I had another vendor event on Saturday but that was less successful. There was a huge football game at the same time which explains it. Then we had a birthday party for a dear friend's son's first year on Sunday! When I got home I had dishes, laundry, a car full of stuff to unload and exhaustion.

Long weekend, and quite a Monday! It was full of laundry folding, washing, dishes, more dishes, and the house barely looks tidy. At least we have clean clothes and dishes and food for dinner! Isn't that the best a mother can do?

It is when I am so tired from a huge weekend.

Tonight I will be finishing up some of my La Leche League leadership application. I am so close! I should be leading my first meeting in January! This is passion of mine and I can't wait to be finished with the process.

Next week Doreen Cronin - author of "Click Clack Moo Cow's that Type" is reading her book at our local library! And everyone that attends gets a free copy!
Can you say "Hip Hip MOORAY!!"
