First Featured Silly Blogger!

Photobucket

Congratulations Muthering Heights!

I had a random drawing awhile ago and I was ecstatic that Jessica won! I am going to feature one fantastic, funny and heart warming mama blogger a month and the first one is Jessica of Muthering Heights.

I love her blog because:
  • It has heart - just peruse the quotes she has scattered here and there, they will make your heart melt!
  • She themed her blog around classic English literature - my favorite kind!
  • She treasures her family and her relationship with Christ above all else, and her blog shows it.
  • It can make me laugh one day, cry the next and give me something to think about too
So go and check her blog out!

Now for the silly questions she answered::

1. Describe a time when you did something totally "dweeb" like:
I am always doing dweeb-ish things...such as dressing up as a Victorian
mother an forcing my children to pose, for example!

2. What was the last thing that made you laugh?
My children and their adorable antics! Kids are such an amazing choice of joy and hilarity!

3. What keeps you sane when life wants to drive you to the loony bin?
(yes, we all have these moments!)
Prayer. I'm blessed to have the Lord to lean on! After that, I call my husband. He's great at
talking me down!

4. Finish this sentence: "I am the mom that...
fills the house with classical music and Art History books. I'm intentionally raising nerds!"

5. Why do you blog?
I blog to record the beauty and humor in my mothering experience, and also to connect with friends!

6. What is your favorite type of music to sing out loud?
I love so many types, I could never narrow it down!

7. What can always put you in a good mood without fail?
A great song, or a day of fun with my family! :)

I love Jessica's blog. She is a woman of grace and class. Her writing is sometimes serious, sometimes humorous, always eloquent. Great person to interview!
